I've done a little bit of surfing and it is confusing, so I am hoping that someone on the forum might be able to provide a quick answer. If not, I will follow up with my HR next week (as I am aware it is the weekend for you all in Singapore).
My employer is providing me with the following Health Insurance:
IHP Plan for Outpatient Services
S$3000 a year for Medical Specialists
Hospital & Surgical Insurance
I have no further details on the letter, and as I stated I will follow up with HR. I am just curious if the $3000 a year is all I am allotted for Specialist service and everything else is out of pocket? Or would there be a copay for beyond this? Is there a general H&S policy or does this vary? Should I look into additional insurance on my own?
Thanks for any advice/insight that can be provided.

You need to ask for more clarification. Health insurance options for employees are vast. If you have a condition, a trip to a specialist is already $1000+. Your first item sounds legit - it means that you can have outpatient treatment (consultation and medication) at selected clinics at no charge. Need more details for item 3.
