Has any foreigner done this, and if so, about how much did it cost?
Did you get one for yourself, and a separate one for your spouse?
Any suggestions?

Re: Getting a will in Singapore
If you are a foreigner and have assets outside of Singapore, then you should already have a will in your foreign country governing the distribution of your estate. In that case a will is easy and cheap, a one page affair that basically says your Singapore estate will probated through your existing executor and trustee. Your executor should be kept informed of all your Singapore assets and liabilities and how to retrieve them if you die.
If you have no will at all and do have foreign assets life is more complicated, as your Singapore will would need to cover the legal situation in your home country. From my understanding, it is better to have your will where the bulk of your assets are, then an easy Singapore will, mainly because there are not any tax issues you need to worry about in Singapore.

Re: Getting a will in Singapore
You can google for a will template online. After, you can lodge your will at the will registry:

NTUC frequently sponsors will writing seminars, but these are mostly common sense, though you can get a discount with the lawyers doing the seminar if you want to use them.

Thank you all, I will look into your suggestions.
To answer some of your questions, my modest holdings are spread out across 3 different countries and I can't really say which of these is 'home' or will be home in the future.
