Visa for spouse of Student

Post by deepak2307 » Wed, 12 Aug 2015 6:36 pm

Hi,

I am a postgraduate student of NTU on a Student's pass. The University has said they will help me to extend the Social visit pass for my spouse. I would like to know the procedure for applying a long term visa for my spouse if the University extends it. What will be the duration of LTVP for my spouse?

Thanks,
DPK

I'm not sure if a student can apply for an LTVP for a spouse. Have a look at the permitted categories here:- http://www.ica.gov.sg/

[It won't direct link the page, so go to sub-heading 'Apply for Long-Term Visit Pass']

yes a student certainly can JR8 , my roommate was doing his phd and his wife was staying with him as well.
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Really!? Ok, apologies, I stand corrected, never heard of that before.

... I'm curious why it's not indicated as an option on the ICA/LTVP page... any ideas? Worst case the Faculty must be able to provide a cue/link?
