too old to apply for SC?

Post by lot286 » Sun, 26 Jul 2015 11:41 pm

Hi.

Age: 45 years
Malaysian Chinese
SPR for past 13 years
Lived in Singapore past 20 years, of which 3 years was overseas.
Annual salary >150,000 +++SGD

Single breadwinner for family

PRC wife here on LTVP
1 kid

Thinking of applying as a family unit ->

a) what are my chances of SPR given i may be in the 'too old' category 'to contribute to singapore society?'

b) And should i apply before or after GE ?

If craps gonna happen, GE or not, it will happen ... you can't do much ..

If you can find a date for submission apply sooner... that will be 5 months or so away I guess ....;)

If oppies gain power they have sworn to rid all foreigners. .. :p based on their chest thumping .... and a reduction in prc is their loudest demand...

HI. applied for SC for myself and my daughter. Queued up at 8am and first through the door last week.
First round of assessment - passed, gave me a date next year in April (+5 months waiting!). Told me that if i were to do it online, earliest date would have been in June (+7 months waiting!).
