Cataract surgery in Singapore and London?

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate your advice on this issue.

My mother needs to have cataract surgery for her eyes. Although I read that this is 'low-risk operation', I still wonder if Singapore or London is a better option. In both cases, we will pay privately, so it is worth thinking about the location and the doctors.

It seems to me that the costs are very similar in both places - Singapore is not cheaper. Do you think so?

Regarding the doctors, I read a paper by Singapore's Health Ministry, which said Singapore has a success rate for cataract surgery that is as good as any country, including the US and UK. Can I assume that doctors in Singapore, like the Jerry Tan Eye Surgery or Singapore National Eye Centre, are excellent?

Thank you

You are right, US , UK and Singapore are known for having great guy surgeons.
I would like to suggest Dr. Steve Seah from Singapore . He is very good, and he is my sister's doctor. https://steveseah.blogspot.com/
