Symantec Email Proxy

I am running windows XP on a new computer. Every time I log in a window opens saying "Symantec Email Proxy" with an "OK" button. It will go away after clicking OK a couple of times. No trouble with email, yet.
Any suggestions on what this means or how to get rid of it?
