Singapore driving license renewal

I have a quick question on the renewal of a Singapore driving license for foreigners. A while back I had to convert to a local license with a 5 year validity. I was wondering, since in a few months my visa needs to be renewed, will that affect the driving license in any way? Will that need to be renewed too? Or doesn't it matter since the driving license says valid until 2020? Thank you.
