Reading elsewhere there was mention of deposits to a Swiss bank in Sg, so quite likely.

Is it his car or not?
KL criminal investigation department chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said it was too early to confirm whether the burnt car that was found in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sungai Samak, Perak, had any connection to Kevin's disappearance.

Finally the missing DPP is found, unfortunately without good ending: http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/mala ... d-say-cops
“We believe it has to do with a case in the Shah Alam court that Morais was involved in. The suspect was involved in a corruption case that Morais was prosecuting,” he said at the scene today

More drama unfolds within the troubled ruling party, UMNO.

http://m.malaysiakini.com/news/315030
...Khairuddin Abu Hassan, the former Batu Kawan Umno division deputy chief, was then arrested under Section 124C of the Penal Code for 'activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy'. He was released six days later, only to be arrested under Sosma, a law that is supposed to deal with terrorist activities.

...Lawyer Matthias Chang had acted as Khairuddin's counsel when he lodged multiple police reports on 1MDB overseas. He has been detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) as well.

...The duo were reportedly scheduled to meet the US FBI over 1MDB but were barred from leaving the country on Sept 18.
The sacked deputy prime minister speaks out:

http://m.malaysiakini.com/news/314929
...Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin slammed the detention of former Batu Kawan Umno deputy chief Khairuddin Abu Hassan under security laws, after Khairuddin lodged international complaints against 1MDB.

...In a hard-hitting statement, Muhyiddin said 1MDB is a state entity and is not above the law. So anyone blowing the whistle on wrongdoing within 1MDB should be protected, and not prosecuted, least so under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 which is meant to curb terrorism, he said.

...Muhyiddin was recently sacked as deputy prime minister soon after he issued a statement questioning 1MDB. He remains Umno number two, but is reportedly stripped of party responsibilities. The duties are taken over by deputy prime minister and party vice president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
And the rulers and sultans have finally spoken:

http://m.malaysiakini.com/news/314769
The Conference of Rulers has decreed that the investigation into 1MDB be completed as soon as possible and the wrongdoers, if any, be punished.

A lot of vested/self interests there in that group.

I'd have thought that they'd rather a thorough investigation rather than a quick one. This will take forever to unwind.

And this gem "Keeper of the Rulers' Seal".... for that I thank you.

It's alleged that diverted money was used to fund and buy the rights to the film The Wolf of Wall Street. That'd be ironic...
