Quoting from the comments.

I am working on my femininity, on being kinder and gentler towards my husband. Should I take a picture of my boobs as a self-reminder?
Okay, Bummed Out...take some notes here. First, remove your underwear and put a mirror between your legs and take a long look at your testicles and take a picture of those same testicles to put in your wallet to remind you hourly or daily that you do in fact have a pair between your legs. Once you realize you have them, stand up and man up, sissy boy! ............"Men", like you, give marriage a really bad name for America!

Gotta to love Dear Abby. Spot on!

DEAR RENEE: I agree that you are their mother, but you are not your daughters' parole officer. They are self-supporting, self-sufficient adults. Perhaps if you were less overbearing, your daughters would be living closer, would answer their phones more often when you call and would open up to you about their friendships. Frankly, I think you should apologize for giving them such a heavy-handed third degree.

I am an older mom for my kids' age group. For playdates and stuff, the other moms only use text. I understand the awkwardness of making contact with somebody you don't know so well. But I am also like, hey, I am not a monster, you can call me on the phone and talk to me like we humans have been doing. Forever. Took me the longest time to get used to this impersonal way of communication. And then the lightbulb goes up and I realize awwww, this is how it works in the 21st century. So, I finally welcome myself to the 21st century :P .
