Curry puffs and kuehs contrabands
Re: Curry puffs and kuehs contrabands
I think it's just a viral marketing campaign. I'm starting to crave a puff fix.

Well, at least you know who to look for if you need to buy puffs. The only risk you need to be aware of, is that once you deal with him, you'll be entangled in the underworld of global curry puff syndicate.bgd wrote:LOL, thanks. Not the same as the real thing though.
That BMW guy who crashed through Tuas?
He's just a small fry, a pawn. He's supposed to stay in his own turf, back in Boleh-land.
But no, he had to choose to drive through one of the biggest fortresses in Merlion-land in broad daylight. Something tells me this is fishy (fish curry puff, anyone?).
He's probably a distraction. But from who/what?
Could it be a larger cartel that could have gone by undetected during that commotion?
There is always a bigger fish up there. We just don't know about it yet.
Re: Curry puffs and kuehs contrabands
You watch a lot of movies, right?

Re: Curry puffs and kuehs contrabands
I just hope the TOC and the reincarnated A.S.S and TRS don't wind of this 'insider' informationthe lynx wrote:Could it be a larger cartel that could have gone by undetected during that commotion?

bgd, I am convinced Lynx knows more that what she is willing to tell ..

I saw 6 fighter jets being deployed to wipe out the curry puff training camps across the border.

Re: Curry puffs and kuehs contrabands
Guess who got #1 and #2... Polar and 'Old Chunky'. Really? Maybe if you like a puff that is 75% industrially reinforced pastry.
I talked before about doing home-made curry puffs. It's a simple recipe, esp if you already have the main Asian spices in your cupboard. That's when you realise how poor the above 1+2 are... cook a batch and take to work, your colleagues will think you are kitchen-master
... hehe...
p.s. I reckon the over-use of pastry here in shop-bought ones is because maybe the pastry is cheaply vs the filling. Also the 'reinforced' bit is so from the factory the racks of products can be thrown around en route to the shops and not get damaged. I should have done a batch as a (discreet) snack for an Eagles night booze-up...ah well, maybe if we wind up back here again... hehe...
