That was 5-6 years ago now, but we still have and use some products we bought that evening. I'll check to source (i.e. MrsJR8 hehe) how it was we got admittance and revert.*

What I do know is that some of the more prominent embassies have (or had...?) what are effectively annual open days in their grounds.

*Edit/update:
Mrs. JR8: 'It was open to the public, so we just walked in
Me: Ok thanks. Was it is like Thai National day or something?

+1, plus I didn't care for some of the beers I had there, too quirky for me

not worth the money IMHO, plus it was really hot when I went

I think they have listened to you, only one "quirky" brewery (MOA) this year. None of the local microbreweries are there.

None of the beers I tried there were local, they were American, Aussie, and Japanese.

Elsewhere I have had an MOA IPA, was a bit meh.
