Anyone know if any TV channel in Singapore will be showing the forthcoming England v Australia Ashes cricket test match series? It starts on something like 8 July.
Starhub's cricket package pages list a load of events that have already happened. Google reveals nothing, except that Harry's are advertising that they will be showing it live.
I can't believe, given the number of Brits and Aussies living in SG, that it won't be shown here somehow...

The NZ tour of England has been on Star Cricket (starhub channel 236) so I expect the TV rights holders will be the same and they'll have the ashes on as well. It's hard to tell though as I can't find any schedule that goes beyond the next week.

Thanks Mike. I've assumed the same, Star Cricket seems to be the most likely candidate but strange that there's no schedules, and I can't find a website for that channel. Everything that comes up when I Google it just points to Star Sports in India & their cricket pages.
Haven't checked mio though. I'm not signing up with Singtel for that on top of Starhub.

Pretty sure Star Cricket is a Star Sports channel of some sort, certainly the interludes between matches are Indian presenters and reporters. One of the NZ ODI matches didn't show the first hour or so live as it was the same time as a live India/Bangladesh test.

When F1 switched to Mio a few die hard F1 fans did end up with 2 set tops ... not sure if the cross carriage thing was resolved

If this doesn't help, email SQ through their feedback form. For some reason, they are unreachable through phone. Horrible customer service.
