Relocation advice

Post by AussieCoupleplus1 » Sun, 21 Jun 2015 2:48 pm

Hi all,

We are a family of 3. Me my wife and a 2 year old! My wife has been offered work in singapore and is looking at a start in December or January.

I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on her offered package- whether it is affordable and the best place to live.

Her work will be based near the airport. They are offering 120k per year (including accom and salary), and with medical ins on top. I will likely be able to get work as well, however I don't want to be worrying about having to before she accepts.

Would be looking to budget 4k per month for accomodation... Around East coast. Would this be sufficient? Any advice would be really appreciated!!! We have been doing a lot of research however thought it would be better to pose a question to you all!

Also, has anyone sent their child to daycare and know the approximate cost?

We currently live in Australia!

Thanks

4k absolutely doable in east coast, heartlands and older places centrally ( think novena or clementine areas).
