mostly are local. there are also bands from MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, PHILIPPINES,KOREA AND JAPAN
this is more for those alternative/indie music goers, they do feature some hardcore/punk bands but no metal bands :P

the lynx, ;-) K.c. will appreciate that.

Caracal is a local Indie post-hardcore alternative rock band. They won BayBeats back in 2007 as the hottest new alternative rock band. They have opened for BayBeats on two or three other years and they have been asked to return again this year and are playing on the Saturday, 27th You can uTube "The Ironist" for a whiff of their stuff (or Caracal). Maybe JR8 will catch them as well?

That's the one where Dr. Evil gets taken away by the nice kind nurses

Last time we went to an outdoor gig at the Esplanade, we did it as part of a day-trip downtown. So we had lunch somewhere we'd never find in the suburbs, did a bit of leisurely 'downtown shopping' in the afternoon, headed over to Esplanade and enjoyed the concert, finishing off with pre-booked dinner at one of our fav restaurants in the area.

Yeah.... that kinda plan might work again. And it would be great to see Caracal; they've got it.
