PR approved, but i have a question

Post by vivarini » Fri, 05 Jun 2015 6:18 pm

Hi, i'm sharing my experience on my PR application with the aim of getting an answer to a question.

My application has been approved after 6 months' wait, i submitted the application last October.

here's a short summary of my profile;
Malaysian female, 26yrs, single, 1st application under S pass, been working here since early 2012, holding bachelor degree from University in Malaysia, working in construction related sector, yearly income less than 30k.

I'm not active in any of the community service, only took up a short course of first aid training on company's request.

incident worth mentioning? i went to ICA twice during submission as i missed out my original copy of birth cert during my 1st appointment, was told i'll get a better chance for approval with it, so i got my family to mail it from M'sia.

Now, here's my question, is there a government regulation restricting PR applications from changing job within a period of time upon PR approval?

No legal reason. Moral reason. Probably.

No.

On different note, you'd be silly to try to apply PR without original documents in your hand (i.e your birth cert).

A friend of mine went without it as he lost it, so they asked him to write a letter of clarification. I assumed the same case.

Anyway, I'm just sharing this for others applicants out there
