Pedestrians be careful
So one now, the other 5 days earlier and 5 days before the first one we had there the Brotzeit gathering. Coincident? I don't think so.

Sadly, the photos are circulating. Gruesome to say the least.
I'll not paste the link but it's an easy search using SGShare. They came up on my feed on FB.

I think that is the first time I saw "revert" used properly in this country.

^^ It was an unconscious action in all probability.

But should it be used with or without "back"?

For a human body terminal velocity is about 120 m/h / 200 k/h / 56 m/s. From rest, it would take about 5.7 to 6.5 seconds to reach this velocity depending upon total wind resistance... (v = gt or t = v/g - no wind resistance).
Distance is calculated as d = 0.5 * g * t^2 = 0.5 * 9.8 * (5.7^2 to 6.5^2) = 160 to 207 meters or 525 to 680 feet. So, that person would either need to be up near the 50th story or higher or did not make contact with terra firma at terminal velocity.
Wind resistance (drag) increases as velocity increases, so it actually takes longer.
If belly down, a person only gets to 90% of terminal velocity at 8 secs, which will be about 1,000 ft (taking into account the effect of this drag).

There are "invisible grilles," narrowly spaced, tight wires for balconies that are available, ostensibly for child safety.
