Infrastructure wise, it is. Sadly, the majority of natives don't fare so well.

I think a guy said he was drinking with about off duty cop when in Singapore etc etc
I was tempted to ask if the fellow was a cop or auxiliary police

Or a foreign off duty cop on holiday in Singapore

Ps, that the fellow took time to read XX's blog shows the fellows own intelligence
If Kim Kardashian can make money telling people what she ate for breakfast why not XX ?
Jealous ? Oops

^^This
In my experience there are retards everywhere and their natural environment is the internet. Frankly the guy could have found a similar "celebrity blogger" in pretty much any country in the world, swapped out Singapore for the name of that country and got the same response.

Mike, the biggest difference is like the descriptive term for the locals, "Kiasu". It's not that this is the only country that has these types of people, they can be found anywhere, It's the percentage of the people that is higher here than in most other places, hence the term here sticks and become an stereotypical description of most Singaporeans even if the majority aren't like that at all. It's the density (numbers) of them here that makes them stand out compared to other countries.

Somebody's gotta make some money. So let her be. Nothings is new. Meh.
Willing buyer, willing seller.
The law of supply and demand applies here too.
Demand -> Singaporeans, Malaysians and Indonesians with appetite for that genre.
Supply --> Bloggers like Xia Xue.
Ta da!

Talking of bloggers there's an Indonesian blogger in Singapore who became famous to some prominent .. later the story line goes that she engineered it herself to an extent ..the lynx wrote:Somebody's gotta make some money. So let her be. Nothings is new. Meh.

She is known as a celebrity blogger because nobody knows her in the first place. Reading her blog does not make one smart or stupid.foofoo124 wrote:Do millions of people really read this blog? True, but continuing to read it could be a good indictator of stupidity.BelindaSunshineSgp wrote:
