An interesting article.

Really? A fall out with the ruling party? I am not much in touch with politics. I just happen to come across this article.

Sorry, too much of a sensitive topic to discuss in a public forum.

He mentioned about Taoism. Just saw this. I mean we can all live a life that is alive and enjoy each experience as it arises. Labelling, pre-judgements, those kind of things ...... just seem life-deadening.

Since when ? I know A ruling party future leader meets him quite frequently.

And he is taken care of (if you are referring to the gentleman, who I think you are referring to).

:???: I'm afraid I don't. The Mods don't seem overly anxious so I'm not sure why you should be.

I have no idea what the second link was to as it's broken but the first link is a good enough read, that I'll probably buy the book. I reckon we'd really have to get rambunctious on here, considering I'm still around after my FB tirades. I reckon as long as I'm speaking truth, I've got nothing to worry about. ;-)

However, I think I understand JR8's possible concern which may or may not have anything at all to do with this forum.

There are certain people here who are deemed to be 'persona non grata'. An example might be Dr. Chee. Having a known association with him is probably not a plus to living and getting on here.

You can be sure this forum (and the others) is monitored by the state. Hence, like most SGns, I am happy to have no opinion on matters that do not concern me.

I now understand JR8's worries - Did JR8 do wee bit of counseling for the subject ?? :-k
