PR approval formalities question

Post by grommash » Mon, 11 May 2015 12:34 pm

Hi, my PR application (with wife and son) just got approved recently and I would need to go to ICA with my wife to complete the formalities. My question is: Does my son (toddler) need to go with us to ICA? Can I just bring his passport and documents? (My son is currently in Singapore). Thank you!

When in doubt, take him. It's better than going there, finding out that they want to see him and then having to wait another couple weeks to get another appointment to finalize. My thoughts anyway. I don't really know but I'm used to going prepared with everything possible to avoid any endless delays or being unaware of any changes of policy.

yes you should bring your kid. Completion of formalities include taking finger prints (unless it changed in the last 10 months)
