The 'Di$neypore' pastiche continues?

Post by JR8 » Fri, 08 May 2015 3:00 pm

Long Bar replica at Changi T3 (8 May – ST)
A two-storey DFS Duty Free store will officially open on 12 May 2015 at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3. The 11,400-sq ft flagship store is the firm’s largest and comes with a replica of the famous Long Bar at Raffles Hotel.

Dreadfully kitsch. Selling out your heritage for $.

p.s. Reminds me of Tioman, and Berjaya's recent plans to build an airstrip off the beach over the coral reef (in a Marine Park)
