working hours

If the contract says work from 7am - 5pm, INCLUSIVE of 1 hr lunch.
Does that mean I actually work for 10 hours? or I have to minus the 1 hr lunch, so consider as working for 9 hours?

If it is the later, shouldn't they state in the contract that EXCLUSIVE of 1 hr lunch?

Usually work hours in the contract and the reality when you join the company can be different, so dont get so hung up on the work hours mentioned in the contract. But that said, what that means is the 1 Hr is included in the time range 7am - 5pm. Exclusive would mean, you must have the lunch before 7am or after 5pm
