PR-update full CV

Post by Shirley3090 » Wed, 29 Apr 2015 3:04 pm

Hi everyone, I married to a singaporean. My PR is sponsored. I have a daughter who is a singaporean. I applied for PR last November. It has been 5 months till now. and last week I received a letter from ICA attached with a form requiring a detailed CV of my parents since I am the only child in my family. How longer its gonna take after submitting the CV? Since I have a new offer which gonna start from Aug this year. However, due to my situation, they can't offer me foreigner contract based on my LTVP+ right now because they are worried that once the PR is issued in MAY (6months after my application when PR normally is issued) then the foreigner contract needs to be changed to a local contract. something like that. and if they give me local contract first, what if in Aug, My PR status is still pending?
I am wondering how much longer its gonna take after submitting the addtional info of my parents' detailed CV?

Desperate ...

and ICA's phone is dead. ...........
anybody tried to call 63916100 ? how is it going? t :???:

Frankly, I don't know. I do know that somebody on here a while back (month or two) and gotten one of those requests for full family disclosure after submitting the application for 5 or 6 months and at the time they posted here around 18 months total has passed. I'm not sure what the outcome was though, can't remember off-hand. Maybe somebody else here can remember that thread.

That's pretty devastating news. I read the posts here. That's why I'm getting worried.
Thanks for your help!

But none of the email is related to what I'm asking. The PR email Is about re-entry. Visitors emails are all about students pass.

ful babu, I never had any reply from ICA that took more than a week.

Maybe you did ask something that ICA felt not that urgent enough to reply..

Maybe you should consider asking your husband to withdraw the PR application, since Singapore is so inefficient ?? ? :-k :-k

What you are saying partially true, that was not a life or death question ... but at least they apologized ..
I refer to your email below.

IMO Singapore is the most efficient country I have ever seen, may be you have no idea how rest of the world is

the bottom line is if you feel it is very urgent , why not pay them a quick visit, ICA is very helpful over the counter , btw I found this number 63916319 which works.

That's very childish reply... You are suggesting. Something that would lead to a divorce. I have seen your replies before. Helpful and extreme. Anyways, thanks for your help. It's not that ALWAYSEfficient.
