Part Time Work & S-Pass + Study

Post by re7 » Sat, 25 Apr 2015 9:27 am

Hi All,

My partner just had her LTVP approved alongside my workpass and we have been discussing what she will do when she moves over.

She would like to work part time and study. I am wondering if anyone else has done this and if companies can give S-Pass for part time workers?

Thanks,

Reece

No, she cannot get an S pass for part time work, she may, however, be about to work on a Letter of Consent (see the MOM site for more information on the LoC) (mom.gov.sg)

I wish people would just tell it like it is so we don't have to keep second guessing. I assumed his partner was his wife. My bad. So she's crap outta luck then as it would have to be dependents pass, and that's what I get for trying to do 5 things at the same time at work or a saturday afternoon (and trying to get out of the office at 1 pm). I should have made the connection when he said LTVP in the first place! She's going to have to qualify for a position herself and no, you won't get an S pass for part time work.
