S Pass issued for 12 months

Post by mute » Thu, 23 Apr 2015 12:45 am

Hi All,

I have received a offer letter from Singapore Concern for one year contract then renew after completion, they have applied for 12 months S Pass and it got approved. whether companies normally apply only 1 yr S pass or is there any change in Government regulations. when i enquired to the company at the discussion they referred it is because of Government norms. i have got offer basic per month salary of SGD 4100 , with this can i able apply for dependent pass.

Thanks
Ranjit

The MOM can give you whatever length of pass they wish I believe.

I once got a 1yr renewal instead of the expected 2yr .....

Reject the offer if you are not happy.
