We will be upgrading the forum software tonight.

This upgrade will enable the entire forum to be responsive and mobile friendly.

If you encounter any bug or problem, please inform us.

Tapatalk shall be installed shortly after.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Noted. Oh the glitches I experience earlier are gone now, so I hunted down the spammers that escaped the first time at 5 and they just got whacked at 8! :-D

Have the front page 'View new posts', 'View your posts' etc (the perhaps 4-5 core viewing options) gone? As I can't see them.

Maybe they'll reappear later.

Software upgrade completed. Took a loOOooOOoog time due to the number of posts on this board. 4 long queries on the database took more than 15 hours.

Now it is time to tie up the loose ends. We are trying to have the board looks and works like the old one and we need the feedback of the users.

1. How is the font-size on desktop?
2. How is the font-size on mobile?
3. Is the spacing too tight?
4. Any problem encountered so far?
5. Is Tapatalk working?

The layout is now responsive and mobile friendly, should work even without using Tapatalk. Try it on your smart phone and let us know if it works.

Again sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you!

Desktop/Win-7
1) Looks fine, I see no change from previously. I.e. no problems encountered yet.
4) The site was a little slow to load, the banners to the right seemed to hold things up, as completing the page-load was waiting on them. Could well just be a transient thing though.

-- The Reply options seem to have evolved slightly. Did 'Reply with Quote' change to a ' " ' button? Not that that would matter, just an observation.

Font size on my laptop seems slightly smaller.
Definitely need my reading glasses now.

Still no "View your posts" button showing.

Notice you replaced the "Quote" button with the double open quote ( ) and the "Edit" button with a pencil symbol.
Thanks for having the explanation bubble appear on hovering over these to confirm what they are.

Odd, it should be bigger compared to the old board.

I am still working on the font size, keep the feedback coming!

I have increased the font size slightly. Hope this is acceptable for all.

I find the speed of the new board faster than before, maybe it's just me.

Have anyone tried using this board on smart phones? (not Tapatalk)

Have dramatically different fonts when using Firefox vs. IE.

Guess I need to look into the differences between my IE and my FF settings.

Has something changed with e-mail notifications? I have 12 e-mail notifications (and they're still coming as I write) from one topic, and that is since I logged off at midnight last night. If I were following a few active topics, that might add up to a looot of notifications.

I seem to recall that previously you would receive a single notification of a new post, and then no additional ones, until you'd returned to the topic and read it.

As you see I'm not clear if or what has changed, but I imagine this is somehow unnecessarily resource heavy?

ps. now 14
