Yes, I'm looking for bagels too. Freshly baked. The only option I know is those expensive frosen ones at FairPrice.

Anyone who know where to get freshly baked bagels? I'm crawling on the walls :P

bagels

don't know if they're still there but the Cold Storage at Holland Village used to sell bagels by the piece at their deli counter. They were good sized things, bigger than the frozen Lender's bagels. Taste-wise, nothing'll ever beat the bagels I used to get back in Montreal.

Somebody should open a Kosher/New York deli here. I think there're enough Americans who'd try out New York-style grub. I miss the smoked meat sandwiches, the tourtieres, the moonpies, the Bar-B-Barn ribs from Guy St., ....

Aw... I'm just missin' Montreal.
no trees were hurt in the making of this post but a few electrons were terribly inconvenienced
