ViewQwest are very cheap and have great connection speeds from my experience. If you are already tied into a contract with Starhub or Singtel, then you can also look at Unblock-us.com. Bear in mind, android Netflix app does not work with VPN at all though! I've tinkered plenty in KL and can't get it working.zzm9980 wrote:Search the forums for "MyRepublic" or "ViewQuest".
That sounds very expensive.dave. wrote:with a low S$30 per device, ..
Well, the thing is it shouldn't be "per device". Any reasonable solution would only involve changing a setting in your router (DNS assigned to clients), or just using a different ISP that does it all automagically.JR8 wrote:That was to get him set up, not the monthly rate. I'd pay that as a techno-phobe
Have you tried turning it off and on again?JR8 wrote: It's that desperate, I can't even get that to work!
Thanks for the heads up, If I choose US or other countries do i need to keep using the vpn to stream the US content ?Splatted wrote:I use "hola" to allow me to subscribe to netflix. The advantage of hola is that once you are subscribed, you can change the country from USA , say Canada, or Australia and view other content available in other countries.
by the way, it's free, and seamlessly integrates into chrome browser
