Road bike or trail bike

Hello! My husband and I are moving to SG in a couple weeks. We are each going to bring one bike. Is there more opportunity to ride on pavement or are most bike trails gravel/dirt? Thanks.

There are very few dirt/gravel trails. Most are paved. That said, I prefer my mountain bike as I often have to ride across the grass to get around slow moving groups of pedestrians on the paved trails.
