Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
I am not even a PR, so I wouldn't ask questions related to citizenship. Other Indian PR, wannabe citizen lurkers, maybe.

I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
It was obvious bcus the OP's time measurement system is not from sub-continent, where the application timeline is measured from the day one makes up their mind to apply to having the ic in the wallet.
For the sub-continent folks, the time line is from the day one submits the docs in ICA in person to the date when its approved online, thus capturing the uncertain waiting time. And thus ignoring the portion when there is no uncertainity.

My application is pending for more than 18 months. I am in 19th month now. May I know your application outcome? Is it still pending?
could you please let me know :
1. How many PR renewal you have done? If no renewal done so far, which year your Citizen application is made since you got your PR?
2. Did you applied whole family or only for yourself?
3. Whats your Race/Salary
Thanks.

Why? You gonna change your application depending on what he put down? All the information you asked for won't help you one bit. Why cant people understand that.rockstar_sg wrote: Hi super-man,

This is to understand what similarities exist between the two long pending applications. Are you from the MOM dept who want to prevent the secrets go out Lor?

The only similarities are that fact that you are both human beings, also with your response, I'm having second thoughts about that statement as well. Anecdotal evidence shows that there are vary little similarities and the only one that does seem negative across a wide range of rejected applicants is ethnicity if it is sub-continental in origins. Otherwise, we've seen people who make less than 4K/mo approved and some earning in excess of 400K/pa rejected. So, how?

True. If you're clutching the straws, looking for similarities between your profile and the successful profile will help with the conscience. It is okay. It is very normal among some applicants.rockstar_sg wrote:Hey Intelligent, sundaymorningstaple wrote:Why? You gonna change your application depending on what he put down? SMS actually meant that, in objective view, knowing the similarities actually won't help, other than providing pure anecdotes. Actually there are people who would go to the lengths of tailoring their application to match successful profiles but we all know it won't work for ICA because they hold their cards to themselves on the minute details that no anecdote can upturn.
I wish you luck.

Don't doubt about yourself too much lor. Think in second thought and third thought and so on..sundaymorningstaple wrote:The only similarities are that fact that you are both human beings, also with your response, I'm having second thoughts about that statement as well. If I were you, I will not just raising useless questions on people doubts, rather I will try answering something useful. My question is not about ethnicity, I just want to know about a particular person's profile and waiting for his/her reply, Just get away as my question is not for you.

That's where you jumped the gun .rockstar_sg wrote:. My question is not about ethnicity, I just want to know about a particular person's profile and waiting for his/her reply, Just get away as my question is not for you.
It's pretty much all about the ethnicity ..

For argument sake, if I found most of my deep sea divers got it fast, what would you do ? Reinvent yourself as a deep sea diver? Just wondering..

If so, why my colleague and family member (both are Malaysian Chinese) got rejected ? You got the justification? Lol !!ecureilx wrote:That's where you jumped the gun .rockstar_sg wrote:.
