Yep, just about everybody who ever applied and couldn't have the patience to just wait. Some got it, some didn't. The reply in not indicative of success or failure.KJA wrote:I had called ICA 2 weeeks ago ,according to them my application status is in final stage of processing.
Anyone of you ever received same reply from them ?

Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
Let me know which number to call for inquiry
Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
What is the number to call ica
Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
As usual, just call the hotline.
Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
there isn't any special number for the enquiry of citizenship application.
thats the only general main line, and it is also depends on the answering officer who will give you a damn or not to your queries.

There is a process to follow, and the process will play out, I am fairly sure it won't be any slower or any quicker than it has to be.Farhat wrote:I know well as I have make several trips to Ica with no success let's hope if I can get a positive answer through phone

If you call and get through to someone , and they say that your application is being processed and the result will be given to you as and when this process has some to its conclusion.
What will you do?
How is the situation then different from the one you are in now , whereby you wait for the official outcome?
Life is short, paddle harder!!

Took me exactly 2 years from initial application to holding that temporary pink IC in my hand.

WHOA! 2 years!
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Re: Singapore Citizenship Application Outcome
We took the slow boat. Applied online March 2013 and took us 6 months to get an appointment to verify documents. Got approval September 2014. Completed the Journey by end of October, got final approval letter November 2014. Thought we had to wait for renunciation documents before we could finalise everything so we kept postponing our appointment until we ran out - found out that we didn't actually have to do that (duh…). Finally went down for registration the beginning of March 2015.PNGMK wrote:sundaymorningstaple wrote:Congratulations. And you just pushed the ante up by 6 months from 18 to 24 months. And before Wd40 and who knows how many more from the Sub-continent ask, suffice it to say that she is NOT from the sub-continent but European and that's as close as I'll go on here. Again, Congratulations.
