Anyone of you ever received same reply from them ?
Yep, just about everybody who ever applied and couldn't have the patience to just wait. Some got it, some didn't. The reply in not indicative of success or failure.

there isn't any special number for the enquiry of citizenship application.

thats the only general main line, and it is also depends on the answering officer who will give you a damn or not to your queries.

There is a process to follow, and the process will play out, I am fairly sure it won't be any slower or any quicker than it has to be.

If you call and get through to someone , and they say that your application is being processed and the result will be given to you as and when this process has some to its conclusion.

What will you do?

How is the situation then different from the one you are in now , whereby you wait for the official outcome?

Took me exactly 2 years from initial application to holding that temporary pink IC in my hand.

We took the slow boat. Applied online March 2013 and took us 6 months to get an appointment to verify documents. Got approval September 2014. Completed the Journey by end of October, got final approval letter November 2014. Thought we had to wait for renunciation documents before we could finalise everything so we kept postponing our appointment until we ran out - found out that we didn't actually have to do that (duh…). Finally went down for registration the beginning of March 2015.

And before Wd40 and who knows how many more from the Sub-continent ask, suffice it to say that she is NOT from the sub-continent but European and that's as close as I'll go on here. Again, Congratulations.
