Disagree - the paper does not prove the point. The methodology is questionable as it seems to ignore emotion based context - women may not take the risk because they are just afraid of doing something rather than acting based on risk calculation as the authors assumed.

Another factor apparently not taken into consideration is the jobs specifics (where applicable). Typically the males are involved in more dangerous jobs giving them more opportunity to act as idiots in more risky situations.
