Hello all,
I am in the midst of preparing the Singapore PR application for my spouse.
In the documents required section they require the
- Applicant’s Birth Certificate, official household census list or family register (where applicable).
We can't locate the birth certificate anymore.
Did you guys have any similar experience?

Almost.
I couldn't find my birth certificate. But then I realized I put it in a different file case. Whew! It would have been troublesome to go to my country's embassy and file an application for a new birth certificate...

Hello???!!! Hello!!!??? You will need to acquire a copy of your birth certificate. Hello??? If you do not have a copy to submit, forget submitting your PR application because ICA is NOT gonna say, "Oh... no worries... we believe you." You better hunt down a copy through the proper authorities or forget it. Hello?????

If you're an Australian you can apply for an extract from the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Canberra or your home (birth) state. It's a freak valuble document - stop losing it - you're opening yourself up to ID theft.
