Employment Pass application in Singapore

Post by BernardToodie » Mon, 23 Feb 2015 6:22 pm

I rejected a letter of offer to be a Permanent Resident from Singapore government about 8 years ago.
I am currently seeking employment in Singapore.

My question is:
As Employment Pass is needed for one to be allowed to work in Singapore,
will my history of rejecting Permanent Resident offer affect my Employment Pass application in Singapore?

Anyone with same experience?

It's highly doubtful that your rejection of PR will impact your getting an EP. There are enough other obstacles there now without adding that. In fact, it may well make it easier as they don't have to worry about you wanting to stay as a PR as you've already rejected it once, so they won't bother to ask again. ;-)

Go for it.
