We need more papers that are funded by philanthropy or bequests... not less of them.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA

As long as their remit/political agenda is recognised. I mean I wouldn't be too happy thinking folk from abroad thought The Guardian was representative of anything other than a niche opinion. // Ironic, The Times used to be considered the 'Paper of Record' (i.e. of national/historical importance and an impartial record). I expect since Murdoch bought it, that may no longer be so...
