SC application average processing time

Hi,
I have been going thru posts and noticed that the processing time varies greatly in each case. Is there any average to it? I was told by ICA officer during docs verification it would take 2-3 months.. still waiting..

I have been here for 20yrs (Caucasian), PR for almost 20yrs, 2 SC children, both boys (one is currently doing his NS). Stable job (100+K) a year, got HDB. Never lived outside Singapore in the past 20yrs.

Recently re-married, applying without husband (he is a PR for 6yrs), he had SC rejected 3x before we even got married, so decided to give it a break for now. He has been in Singapore for 8yrs with a stable job/income as well. He used to travel for work quite a lot, which could have been part of the reason for rejection.

Anyways, just wondering how long is the wait I should prepare myself for. Thanks

These days highly unpredictable, anywhere in between 3 - 18 months is a norm.

I was told that it would take 6-9 months. That was in the middle of June (about 7.5 months ago) when I submitted my documentation at ICA. Keeping my fingers crossed at this point. The long waiting time is driving me nuts. Hope it won't take too much longer.....
