Visiting a dermatologist should help improve your skin condition right?
6 days ago I visited the dermatologist for this skin resurfacing treatment (ND YAG Spectra skin resurfacing + CO2 Scar resurfacing).
Let me elaborate abit.. The YAG Spectra skin resurfacing was supposed make the pores on my cheeks smaller, and the CO2 Scar resurfacing was supposed to make the scar on the sides of my nose less prominent or look like normal skin after a few treatments.
Now let me summarise. The dermatologist ****s so much he did the exact opposite, now the pores on my cheeks appear bigger. And my scar? Ya, the scar is gone. But he gave me a new scar, the new scar is now depressed instead of how a normal scar looks like. Once it heals it would look like someone took a chuck of skin out of that area.
Have you ever read news of people going for skin treatment just to wind up looking worse or hideous? I have, and now I understand their pain and agony of taking time off work and paying money to look worse. I am thankful it was not worse than those who ended up in the news.
Does anyone reading up to this part know of any dermatology clinic that does laser skin resurfacing for scars and pores? No joycelim or gangnam please. Do let me know the consultation and treatment charge, thanks!
If you are interested of knowing which clinic I visited for the treatment, do private message me.

Dermatologist ****ed up my face, now what?
Re: Dermatologist ****ed up my face, now what?
are you sure the doctor you visited is a specialist?
before you go running to another doctor, i recommend asking for a copy of your patient consent form to look at the details, then calling up this doctor in question to see what he/she can do for you before going somewhere else (in that order).
at least, i hope your doctor was a card carrying MMed, not one of those aesthetic skin laser lipo botox GPs with just a GDFP in dermatology. i think the latter is unlikely to be able to help you much besides give you a referral to another doctor.
in the short term, you may want to consider letting your skin heal and "normalize" before going under any additional procedures... (i have a feeling you want an instant resolution... yesterday!)

Re: Dermatologist ****ed up my face, now what?
Hi, thanks for the reply!
I was told that I have to wait 1-2 months between each skin resurfacing treatments. I will wait and observe, maybe he has anticipated that it will stimulate enough collagen growth to cover up the depressed "scar", which is what I am calling it now.
I am still kinda upset, the skin condition was not very visible but now is more depressed after the treatment. I will apply moisturizer once in a awhile to see if that fills up the void. In my next session I will consult him and tell him specifically where I want the laser, and what I expect it to do at the specific area.
