Hi Edwina

If you are looking for talents to portray the aliens, there are a number of regulars here would fit that role perfectly. Minimal make up and prosthetics will be required.

Haha that's still funny no matter how many times I've been told this.

But unfortunately, we are not looking for aliens. If you know anyone who might be interested though, please let them know about this casting call. It is a really good opportunity and who knows who you might be able to bump into on set. ;)

I could give you Jack Bauer's younger brother or a much younger version of Jean-Luc Picard, coupled with the baldness and even the French language (!).

No 0-6m kids though that I can think of. 4y+ would be an entirely different story.

But OP, do you know that trying to get Caucasian looking people to do this may break the MOM rule of having additional employment?

Because very likely you're looking into the pool of Caucasians holding EPs or SPass working in Singapore and it is not allowed. Not even on tourist visa, unless officially via MOM by your company for this one.

Unless you're lucky to find a (very) young Caucasian PR or even citizen here for your role #2.

Hey there! Yes as this is not our first foreign production, we have checked with MOM with regards to this.

You would be comforted to know that according to MOM,
Foreigners can perform certain activities in Singapore for short durations without a work pass. They can perform these activities for the duration of their short term visit passes subject to a maximum of 60 days... including activities relating to any location filming or fashion show (including involvement as an actor, a model, a director, a member of the film crew or technical crew, or a photographer).
See more at: http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/ ... ionFilm-FS

However that said,
Foreigners performing any Work Pass Exempt Activity are required to notify MOM online after they have arrived in Singapore and obtained a Short Term Visit Pass issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore. MOM must be notified before the foreigner starts performing the Work Pass Exempt Activity.

I hope this helps dispel any doubts with regards to this matter.

And if you're filming in Batam then they'd be working in Indonesia anyway, right?

Yes, that would be in Indonesia. :)

You can always do it for the experience! We will be providing travel, accommodation and meals, so it could be an interesting visit to the nearby island for free!

We are fighting for the ISO 796324321226491 certification and because of this, this is a bump bump (any bump) free forum. Normally we also do not allow any advertisement but yours is entertaining enough so it was not removed. Please do not bump bump again. If you want to bump bump, please provide some bump bump free and meaningful content that should be typically more than 1 sentence long.

Thanks for the bump.

Based on what you have posted here, it means only Caucasians outside of Singapore are eligible by your application, which also means that Caucasians who are already here (on own employment pass) will not be included because of the (still) existing regulations that they cannot have additional employment aside of the one stated in their pass.

Which also makes up a majority of this forum regulars.

I am actually very interested (in watching this thread). Let us know if you manage to find someone.

Ah speaking on the mixed-parentage baby role, I think a lot of the forum regulars (parents) are fit for that. :P :P :P
