Govt is looking to arrest some folks ......... apparently they hitting 45km/h ....
I am pretty sure nobody but themselves(cyclists) were in any danger.
Why the F*** are they not doing anything about those F******* on bikes trying to do that on the footpath especially the lazy ones on the electric bikes.
The Govt really does have me puzzled!!

Re: Illegal Street racing on Push bikes
What are they doing that is illegal? Closing the road?
45km/h isn't particularly fast. Well, I guess it's very fast if you compare it to my cycling.
I mean 45 is still under most speed limits.

Re: Illegal Street racing on Push bikes
I had the same reaction when I saw this on FB this morning. I though it had to be a satire post until I realized it was actually in the papers. Are they serious? They really don't have much to do here do they, if they have to find a way to arrest somebody for not breaking the speed limit.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
Re: Illegal Street racing on Push bikes
Just read that the guys arrested could be getting 6 months in jail , and that this has been going for over a year, what a very strange turn of events.
Have the Police really got nothing better to do?
What law are they breaking?
What is the difference between what these folk are doing and the folks smashing it up and around Loyang Avenue/Changi Prison roads almost every night?
