Does anyone commute from Johor Baru?

Post by AllBiz » Sun, 30 Nov 2014 8:41 am

Just curious if anyone commutes from Johor Baru to Singapore is it a tolerable commute, or quite long and stressful? What hours is traffic the worst? What do you believe is the best travel method for regular commuting?

There are 1000s of people who do this day in and day out, especially on motorbikes. But anybody who does this will have such a busy life that they wont have enough time to sleep, leave alone come on this forum and answer people's queries

Lynx's link covers most of it but things have recently got more expensive. I think $30 per day to drive a Malaysian registered car into Sg.

I do know people that do it. It can be fine one day and then hours delay the next. Apparently the lifestyle more than makes up for it, although not sure whether the recent price rises have changed that view.

Only travel by bike if you can travel off peak, otherwise you will be queuing for hours.
