YT downloading

Postby Brah » Mon, 24 Nov 2014 7:31 pm

...seems to have stopped almost completely, I'm not sure why some still work.

So all those add-ins and apps to save YT videos no longer work, unless you get lucky and the clip you want permits this. 4 out of 5 I tried yesterday didn't work.

So there is surely a workaround, because for-pay software. I just haven't figured it out yet.

Oh and I'm not going to debate the whys and why nots of doing this here.

Thanks, that worked, never used that one before.

The usual utilities I have for this for the same clips still do not work, namely the FF downloadhelper add-in and the YouTubeDownloader app.

BTW this utility stopped working and directed me to their add-in site.

So I deleted those cookies related to this site and it worked again, might be a counter or flag.

I use Savedeo.com occasionally without any trouble. Usually for longer ~1hr length videos like the Vice NK special.
