why do you need to sound rude and condescending? there are all kinds of posters here, some funny some not so funny and some who will tell you things you don't like to hear. DEAL WITH IT!varun.atim wrote: If you don't have anything constructive to add on to then don't waste your time posting. Am here to get some help , but not to subject myself to Internet bullying .
your not the first guy to post that line I quoted and you won't be the last, but its people like you time and again who give other Indians a bad name.
and last not least please fill up this form

To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Gents , actually i don't want to further get into any verbal duels .
I was here to get some help , intention was not to make this a national issue.
I rather felt the first response was rude and condescending hence my response. The mod of the community expressed his opinion / displeasure in no unclear words , and I take it. Now there's really no point getting jumping in and trying to teach " the obnoxious new-bee" a lesson
Would appreciate if someone could get back to the original request , else mods could actually close the thread.
No offence / disrespect meant to any one , appreciate if we move on.

We don't close threads. We won't delete posts; the only ones that we do are spam, dupes, porn, gore and illegal stuff.varun.atim wrote:Gents , actually i don't want to further get into any verbal duels .

You've said things you regret; you learn to live with them because this is the internet. And considering this is a Singapore-centric website in Singapore, you get to exercise free speech all you want--all the good things along with with all the bad things.

I have checked in gothere website, its shows up travel time around 30 minutes only(from 61 meyer road to 200-Cantonment Road). I observed that there is an express way bus exist which may reach on estimated travel time shown(special case traffic at expressway itself). If its not expressway bus it may take more time then estimated time due to traffic in the peak hours. you can check with http://www.gothere.sg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi Fellas,
house hunting started ! i saw a few nice 3 bedroom's at Flamingo valley.
I loved the new condos, the facility and also tested bust 10e from work , all works fine.
But i see a cemetry next to it , inquired around no one had much to say if its active or a old one.
Also i see Dengue being a big problem at Singapore , i checked Sigalp road is not a hot spot , but with all the water themed resort style at Falmingo , is there any histroy of Dengue risk there ?
Any one here staying there , or has any fedback regarding famingo valley ?
will appreciate all inputs.

Flamingo is actually an OK place. Regarding dengue, this year it has been pretty under control and we hope it stays that way. Your question as to why, with all the water theme, it hasn't any case yet - it is because it is mandatory by law for all condominiums to have pest management contract and it includes mosquito control (both adults and larvae).varun.atim wrote:Hi Fellas,

Actually dengue is the only problem in Singapore ... if you ignore other news stuff ... like Famous Amos... or fighting aunties and Singapore Reckless Drivers ... And the likes ...varun.atim wrote:.

.
Hot spots etc shift ... Especially if there are ongoing construction sites but that gets cleared very fast ... it's the perceived concentration of people that makes SG Inc managers hype the dengue issue to keep people on their toes ...
Dengue shouldn't be a decider unless you only read local news / watch local TV channels ...
