Project fare increases for Public Transport

I see that that annual review is underway and the Govt is already looking for ways to "insulate" those less well off against the increases.

Why do they do this charade every year when they appear to claim that nobody will be worse off following an increase in fares

Cost of everything going up ..

And singapore doesn't believe in subsidizing public utilities

They rather subsidize the poor
