bringing a Filipina nanny from Vietnam

Post by ed.debaser » Mon, 17 Nov 2014 8:06 pm

Hi everyone!

My wife and I will be moving to Singapore in December with our 4 month old son. We are currently in Vietnam with our awesome Filipina nanny and would like for her to come with us to Singapore.

Does anyone know how we can get her to come with us to Singapore immediately without having to wait 2 months as I have read there are other ways to do this?

Thanks everyone!

-Edward

I believe she will still need to go to Philippines, and get her paperworks as an OFW for Singapore

Have you talked to any agents yet ?

They may advice you best, if you want to speed up the process

you can read up the past posts in this regards

Plan A, get her with you here, don't worry about ICA, if you are flying in Directly from VN, then either a) engage and agent to do the paperwork, or b) do it yourself

then legalise her documents in the Phil Embassy and that's it

Plan B, send her to Philippines, and do the above, but I wouldn't recommend that ..
