Users can now choose to change their template style at the "Style" drop down menu on every page or at the "User Control Panel".
Those who prefer to have a responsive style can select "Mobile Style" (Charon) but if you encounter any compatibility problem with your browser or if you dislike the spacing and color, you can always change it back to "Default Style" (prosilver).
The "Default Style" (prosilver) isn't responsive and not catered for mobile whereas the "Mobile Style" (Charon) is modern and responsive for smaller screens.
Internet Explorer 8 and below users please stick to the "Default Style" (prosilver) because the "Mobile Style" (Charon) may crash your browser.

Thanks for that. I have to say that I'm finding the revised 'silverpro' style a lot easier to read (so far).
Thx!

With the cosmetic tweaks you've been making, I now prefer Charon.

Hadn't seen that, so I've just voted (Prosilver).
Would it make sense having a toggle button 'Best view for desktop', 'Best view for mobile phones', or something similar? Well, assuming that might be possible of course!

Good idea.
Looking into it to see if it can be done easily.

Want to give it more time while the tweaks are being made.
I prefer the look of the new site but the compact-ness of prosilver
The toggle is a good idea as I don't always log in to read.

I wonder how much the forum visits/views have dropped off? I come in once a day, struggle and then leave. Neither board format is ok although prosilver is closer to the old format.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

This is like "new" Cocacola.... or the old F....company.com board... way to go!

I just switch the default to "prosilver".
Google DFP is down at the moment so the page may load slower.

This thread reminds me of those news articles every time Faceboook, Google, or someone else change something cosmetic about their sites. Dozens of unhappy sound bites of people threatening to quit are aired, protests and petitions happen, but ultimately the sites get more traffic.
If Pal shows people in a year what the site used to look like they'd be shocked.
