Applying for Singapore Citizenship

Post by sgguy2014 » Fri, 07 Nov 2014 7:58 pm

I had submitted my application for Singapore Citizenship around 4 months ago, and hope to get the initial approval within the next 2-4 months. I would like to find out from previous US Citizens who had renounced their citizenship in the embassy in Singapore the time it took to book an appointment and how long they had to wait for an appointment. Is it a matter of days? Also, I gather that a 2nd appointment is required. What is the minimum waiting time for the 2nd appointment? Thanks.

check it out for yourself here:

https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/make_d ... asp?pc=Singapore" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

always been a couple of days later for me... might be just poor timing.

Thanks I had looked at the site before but those services are only for passport or registration of birth related services. Renouncing Citizenship requires email to a specific email address and have to wait for a reply for an appointment so it doesn't fall under this automated service :(

If you applied 4 months ago and hope to get approval in 2-4 months you might be disappointed. Mine was granted in October after a year.

YMMV, you might be some superstar talent CEO of BP or something. I'm not.
