Whenever powerful disrupters like Airbnb and Uber comes up, the only thing that can go against such companies are the govt. Which is retarded. the only reason why they want to go against something which is better than current norm is because the govt has vested interests in companies such as Taxi companies and property developers. Period.

Are you living in Singapore ?
If so, you will know the government's primary concern on Uber is those without vocational license competing with licensed taxi drivers
That's why the gov didn't fret much about Grabtaxi, who employ licensed taxis, but is wary about uber
