Hi, my son has verrucas on his foot but loves swimming so I want to buy swim socks for him, does anyone know where can I buy them from?

You can get neoprene swim socks or booties at most swimwear specialty and outdoor adventure stores like Sun Paradise, Outdoor, TYR etc.

Make sure you check the elastic bands around the ankles to make sure it fit snugly around your little one's. Not too tight but enough to keep minimal amount of water out.

You should find them the easiest in sports malls, like Novena Velocity and Queenstown Shopping Complex.

Diving shops have them too but I think those would be strictly booties (with hard insole).

We're staying near Orchard at the moment so was thinking of Plaza Singura as it's convenient to get to and have World of Ourdoors and Sun paradise in the complex. (We're only been here a week).

So I went to Plaza Singura but the sports shops there didn't sell them. On advice I went to Novena Velocity where are about lots of sports and outdoor type shops, again no one sells them, (they had diving gear, flippers etc) The majority of the shops didn't even know the product exists. :-(

I had to do a google search to find out what the warts were and what the socks were. Most of the sites I found said that the socks were overkill and waterproof plasters were sufficient. So, I guess, depending on where they are, that's an option. But if they are between/around the toes, then, yeah, I would think the socks would be in order.

oh, I hadn't considered waterproof plasters, I just assumed that we'd need the socks (don't know much about verrucas myself).
