Help foreign job applicants in Singapore with your expertise

Post by Simone Luijckx » Mon, 06 Oct 2014 2:35 am

Dear all,

With your expertise you can help foreign job applicants who are going to work in Singapore! Therefor I am posting this message: to ask for your help in gaining deeper insight into recruitment conventions in Singapore. I sincerely hope that you are willing to help me with your expertise by filling in the survey (takes about 5 minutes). We are certain that your input will contribute to our country profile. To show our appreciation for your cooperation, you can download a complimentary e-book on international meetings at the end of the survey.

Who am I and why am I making a country profile?

I am Simone Luijckx, student at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where I am taking part in the ‘Cross Cultural Business Skills’ minor programme. My fellow students and I are studying the differences and similarities between various countries in terms of their business practices and customs. In particular, we are interested in learning about the different national styles of business topics in those countries. My team will write a short country profile report about the typical recruitment conventions in Singapore.

The questionnaire should take about 5 minutes to complete. Your anonymity will be guaranteed and none of your specific data will be shared with third parties.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to leave a message at this post.

Why don't you just do a thorough search of this forum. You will learn just about everything you want to know about Singapore in this regard, plus some that you don't. There will be a lot more here than you could ever hope to gain on a survey. Rest assured. I know this will entail you actually doing some work instead of letting random individual post what they feel like in a survey, but there you go.
