Hi there FNDCers,
So this Friday, in a spot of impulsivity, we're going to try the cafe along dunlop street, known quite succinctly as Rouse. This cafe sits along the rustic dunlop street, close to the Masjid Abdul Gaffoor. This mosque has one of the most distinctive architectures in Singapore. The detail, very much in the vein of the moors of old, is reflected in the cinquefoil arches decorated in arabic calligraphy and detail. It is within this backdrop of the former business hub for Indian merchants that we have Rouse, a modern day contemporarily designed coffee house with an uneven brick floor, this is a stylish entrant to the wave of contemporaneous coffee places.
Coffee and cake.
Venue: Rouse, 36 Dunlop street
Time: 830 pm - late
