That's what I'm expecting. The OP will probably get the dreaded 1 year REP so that he can get his affairs in order (or take up SC), but it will be his last REP in all probability. Singapore gahment hates having their noses rubbed in it, regardless of the personal reason for doing so, after they have so graciously extended the approval.

1 year REP, which has become common now, is better than having the REP renewal rejected, as well as cancelling the Citizenship approval !!!

can you please advise on the REP renewal probability ?
I don't work for ICA, nor do I live my life on probabilities
My 2 cents ? expect your REP to be rejected, fair and square, unless you have asked ICA to extend the time for you to complete your formalities
or, expect ICA to issue a 1 year REP
Question, do you own a house here ? or other commitment to Singapore ?
The only commitment that will save him I suspect is a 'white horse' type... i.e extremely important position in an extremely important company or statutory company.

I wonder what made the OP to "Think" after he got the citizenship approval.
Not friends, lah. I just know them. Usually colleagues, friends of colleagues. Indians in my neighbourhood etc
Good people, amongst people who come to Singapore in search of money, very hard to find. There are plenty of good people back home.
so youre saying good people dont come here in search for money? why are you and every other person in Singapore if not for the money and possibly the experience? confused!

There are many reasons to be in Singapore.
In my case (12 years long) it was because I like the country, the lifestyle (and later one specific citizen, whom I also married). Money played no major role, although I did earn some (probably less than had I stayed at home, but that's besides the point).

I also didn't stay here because of the money. I just passed 31 years of marriage to a local woman last month and have two children who were born here (one 25 and one 30 and married now herself.)
